Willie Little in Provincetown!

Over the years so many of you have wanted to meet the artist Willie Little and I am happy to write and tell you that Willie will be in Provincetown this week!

Not only will Willie’s show be opening at the gallery, but he will be reading from his new book “In the Sticks” this Friday August 18th, at 6pm (just before the opening reception).

“In The Sticks” is a coming of age story, and a portrait-gallery of his family dynamics; folks from a time gone by, told with candid humor and a keen eye for human foibles. It depicts a part of the south during a time of radical change. It is a memoir pervaded by love, shame, and reconciliation. Willie’s memoir relays how art became his destiny – and it shows how art helped him to overcome marginalization as a gay black man.
