I am delighted to announce a special exhibition that I’ve curated in response to these unprecedented times. From October 15th through Election Day, November 3rd, over 40 artists will take you for a ride on the rapids of politics, social justice and the effects of the pandemic on their work.
The idea of the show is to make people think, to stir things up and to peer into how the pandemic and the current political situation has affected the personal and creative lives of artists. The show asks the question “With upheaval all around, how can we in the arts stay silent?”
I’ve poured my heart and soul into this project and it is with deep gratitude that I thank all of the artists who have participated. Their artwork and personal statements have allowed me to give voice to my own deep-rooted emotions.
Please don’t hesitate to email or call the gallery with any questions. and if you are in town, please stop by and see some of these works in person. A portion of all proceeds from sales will be donated to local non-profits including Lower Cape Outreach & Lower Cape Food Pantry.
