Self-Discovery in the Contemporary Still Life

Whether interiors, still lifes or portraiture, this week’s showcased works are intimate, contemplative and personal. And when I stop and think about it, I would describe each of these featured artists the same way.

One of my favorite lines from The Little Prince is, “The thing that is important is the thing that is not seen…” and is apropos for introducing this week’s featured artists. They are thoughtful and introspective individuals who allow us to experience the world through their creative eyes.

As Jackson Pollack said “Painting is self-discovery. Every good artist paints what he is.” I can’t wait for you to discover for yourself who these artists are!

Please email or call if you have any questions or if there is a particular work that you fall in love with and please enjoy these beautiful new works.
